Michael C. Moy, L.Ac. (Licensed Acupuncturist), T.C.M.D. (Traditional Chinese Medical Doctor)

A native of China, Michael has studied Chinese medicine and martial arts since the age of 13. As a young man, he discovered his gift in helping others find pain relief by treating his martial arts classmates for their injuries. He went on to graduate from the University of Chinese Medicine of Guangzhou, China, where he specialized in the treatment of stroke patients and those with chronic back pain and sciatic pain.

Michael is certified in acupuncture through the State of Illinois, and a board member of the Asian American Acupuncture Association.

Michael has been in practice in the United States for over 17 years and has extensive experience treating patients of varying ages and health conditions, from children to the elderly, and from professional athletes to those with chronic debilitating conditions.

At the 2012 Xilin Lantern Festival, Michael Moy from the Acupuncture Health Center in Willowbrook Illinois, performs Tai Chi sequence to Fisherman’s Evening Song.

 

Jinhua Xie, BMed., M.O.M., Ph.D. (China), L.Ac.

Jinhua earned his Bachelor of Medicine (MD China) at Fujian College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and his Masters and Ph.D at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine where he was a full professor. In 1999, he was a World Health Organization fellow at the University Of Western Australia School of Medicine. Dr. Xie is currently a clinical supervisor and professor at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. He also serves as the Dean of Doctoral Studies at Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. Consultations with Dr. Xie are available at the Acupuncture Health Center by appointment.
